This is a so-called Focus Free or Toy Camera, a Wide Pic Panorama camera. It's a quite
common model which exists in different colours. It's a basic plastic camera with no
features, except the panorama only mask and a lens
protection slider.
Its
main features are:
~28mm wide
angle plastic lenses, 1 in front and 1 behind the shutter, focus free
Shutter
~ 1/125
Double exposure prevention, lens protection slider, 13x36mm panoramic format only
Size 120 x 68 x 42, Weight 109 gr.
Camera closed.
Camera front. Protection slider open. Note the real panoramic viewer.
Camera back. Viewer and film advance. Film type window and warning sticker.
Camera top. Film rewind, film counter, rewind release and shutter release.
Camera bottom. Nothing.
Film compartment.
There is a mask on the film plane to produce the panoramic format.
There is a second lens behind the shutter and another panoramic mask.
Note the curved film plane, it helps against the vignetting of the
simple plastic lenses.
These
are
the ultimate basics of a camera, focus free, single shutter speed and
fixed aperture. Point and shoot only. If you choose the right film, ISO
400 in general and ISO 200 on very sunny days, you can shoot outside
photos that look OK. The rest will be "Lomo" style.
