This is a so-called Focus Free or Toy Camera, a simple plastic camera.
It's not so common but there are lots of similar housings in different
colours around, it was sold under the TCM brand with a silver housing in
Germany. I has several flash features and motorized film wind.
Its
main features are:
wide
angle plastic lens, focus free
Shutter
~ 1/100
Double Exposure Prevention, automatic flash, lens protection slider,
backlight flash, no flash, motorized film wind, slider
Size 118 x 72 x 37, Weight 172 gr.
Camera front closed.
Camera open. CdS cell under the flash. Flash suppress button and backlight
flash button, both have to be held.
Camera back. Viewer
with flash ready lamp. Film type window, not so common on these cameras.
Camera top. Film counter and shutter release.
Camera bottom. Rewind switch, rewind is not automatic. Battery compartment.
Takes 2 AA batteries.
Film compartment.
I came across a different colour as well. Front.
Top.
These
are
the ultimate basics of a camera, focus free, single shutter speed and
fixed aperture. Point and shoot only. Film wind is not completely
automatic when you put a film. So pull the film leader to the end of the
compartment, there is a little mark. Close the camera and push the shutter
release twice. Now you are ready. It winds automatically between the
photos. There is a switch for respooling that has to be held until the
film is completely rewound. The camera has a big finder, good, if you wear
glasses.
If you choose the right film, ISO 400 in general and ISO 200 on very sunny
days, you can shoot outside photos that look OK. The rest will be "Lomo"
style,
but you can use flash for interior photos.
