This is a so-called Focus Free or Toy Camera, a simple plastic camera.
It's a widely sold model, this one is called SC-911.
Its
main features are:
Wide
angle plastic lens, focus free, min focus 1.5m
Shutter 1/125
Double Exposure Prevention, hot shoe, lens protection slider
Size 114x70x44, Weight 102 gr.
Camera front
closed.
Lens open.
Camera back. Viewer and film advance.
Camera top. Film rewind (lacks the handle), hot shoe, film counter and
shutter release.
Camera bottom. No tripod socket, wouldn't make sense with 1/100 single
speed. Rewind release.
Film compartment. Note the curved film plane, it helps against the
vignetting of the simple plastic lens.
I came across an unused one in its original box:
The box.
What's in the box. Camera with strap, bubble plastic wrapping and French
instructions.
The camera lacks the SC-911 inscription...
...but it's indicated on the side of the box and on the box' the front picture.
These
are
the ultimate basics of a camera, focus free, single shutter speed and
fixed aperture. Point and shoot only. If you choose the right film, ISO
400 in general and ISO 200 on very sunny days, you can shoot outside
photos that look o.k.. The rest will be "Lomo" style, but you can attach a flash for
interior photos.
