This is a so-called Focus Free or Toy Camera. It's a basic plastic
camera with really no features. This one even does not have a name. It came unused with its original box.
Its
main features are:
34mm wide
angle plastic lens, F8, focus free, min focus 1.2m
Shutter
~ 1/100
Double exposure prevention
Size 125 x 43 x 39, Weight 115 gr.
The box
What's in the box. Camera with strap, bubble plastic wrapping and
instructions. Obviously a part of the instructions was copied from a
different model. They say: "slide style lens with shutter lock". There
is no slider, hence no lock.
Camera front, instructions and strap
Camera front. The housing would have room to the right for a battery compartment and a flash.
Camera back. Viewer and film advance. Not even a film type window.
Camera top. Film rewind, shutter release and film counter.
Camera bottom. Rewind release.
Film compartment. Note
the curved film plane, it helps against the vignetting of the simple
plastic lens.
These
are
the ultimate basics of a camera, focus free, single shutter speed and
fixed aperture. Point and shoot only. If you choose the right film, ISO
400 in general and ISO 200 on very sunny days, you can shoot outside
photos that look OK. The rest will be "Lomo" style. This is the most basic plastic camera I have seen.
