This is a so-called Focus Free or Toy Camera, a simple plastic camera.
This is the second cheapest of all Konica Pop cameras I have seen.
There were others which
are real cameras and a Z-up series, which were real cameras as well.
This one has a slider to protect the lens. The black ring around the
lens suggests a moving lens, but no, it's fake. There was also a
motorized version.
Its
main features are:
~35mm wide
angle plastic lens, focus free
Shutter
~ 1/100
Double Exposure Prevention, flash, slider, big finder
Size 113 x 73 x 41, Weight 130 gr.
Camera front. Closed. Flash-on slider. Strap.
Slider open.
Camera back. Viewer, flash ready lamp, film type window and film advance.
Camera top. Rewind handle, film
counter and shutter release.
Camera bottom. Battery compartment. Takes 2 AA
batteries. Rewind release, engages when pressed.
Film compartment. No curved film plane, so there might be
vignetting.
These
are
the ultimate basics of a camera, focus free, single shutter speed and
fixed aperture. Point and shoot only. If you choose the right film, ISO
400 in general and ISO 200 on very sunny days, you can shoot outside
photos that look OK. The rest will be "Lomo" style, but you can use flash for interior
photos.
