This is a so-called Focus Free or Toy Camera, a simple plastic camera.
This is the cheapest of all Konica Pop cameras. There were others which
are real cameras. This one has not even a slider to protect the lens.
Its
main features are:
33mm wide
angle plastic lens, 2 elements, focus free
Shutter
~ 1/100
Double Exposure Prevention, flash
Size 113 x 73 x 41, Weight 130 gr.
Camera front. Flash-on slider.
Camera back. Viewer, flash ready lamp and film advance.
Camera top. Rewind handle, film
counter and shutter release. Rewind release, engages when pressed.
Camera bottom. Battery compartment. Takes one AA
battery.
Film compartment. Slightly curved film plane although the manual says that is has a 2-element lens, it helps against the
vignetting.
These
are
the ultimate basics of a camera, focus free, single shutter speed and
fixed aperture. Point and shoot only. If you choose the right film, ISO
400 in general and ISO 200 on very sunny days, you can shoot outside
photos that look OK. The rest will be "Lomo" style, but you can use flash for interior
photos.
