This is a so-called Focus Free or Toy
Camera. It's called Holga 135s or Holga 135 Smart It exists in several
vivid colours, black and white. It seems to be recent in 2026, I have
not seen it before as a Holga. On the other hand it resembles closely
to other cameras of this kind, so I may have missed it before. Seen the
manual, it is made for the Eastern Asion market. It's a basic plastic
camera with no extra
features.
Its main features are:
Wide angle plastic lens 28mm,
focus free, 1.2m-infinity
Shutter 1/100
Double exposure prevention
Size 100 x 66 x 32, Weight 75 gr.
The box with
Holga brand.
The box again from the other side.
What's in the box: a camera and a manual.
The manual is in English and several Eastern Asian langages. It's from
a waterproof camera with special housing and doesn't mention the Holga
name.
Camera front. The camera is not branded at all.
Camera back. Viewer, film advance.
Camera top. Film rewind, counter and shutter release.
Camera bottom. Rewind release.
Film compartment. Note the curved film
plane, it helps against the vignetting of the simple plastic lens.
These
are the ultimate basics of a camera, focus free, single shutter speed
and fixed aperture. Point and shoot only. If you choose the right film,
ISO 400 in general and ISO 200 on very sunny days, you can shoot
outside photos that look OK. The rest will be "Lomo" style.
Obviously the Holga people chose an existing simple camera and did not
even care to put their brand on the camera itself. They took an
existing waterproof camera manual, but the Holga doesn't have the extra
waterproof housing. BTW: I already had a "Beach Camera" years ago which
seems to be same, it's here. Only the box is
branded Holga.
