This
is a so-called Focus Free or Toy Camera, a simple plastic camera. It's a
widely sold standard model with a rounded
design, an ultra wide lens and a panorama switch, this one is called
Cypréa. It's very small and light.
Camera
back. Viewer, film type window (not so common on these Cameras) and film
advance at the bottom.
Camera top. Panorama switch and shutter release.
Set to "panoramic".
Camera bottom.
Film rewind release (engages when pressed), film counter
and film rewind handle. No tripod socket, wouldn't make sense with 1/125
single speed.
Film compartment. Note the curved film plane, it helps against the
vignetting of the simple plastic lens.
Panorama lamella switch in.
These
are
the ultimate basics of a camera, focus free, single shutter speed
and about F8 fixed aperture. Point and shoot only. If you choose the right
film, ISO 400 in general and ISO 200 on very sunny days, you can shoot
outside photos that look o.k.. The rest will be "Lomo" style. As I always say: You should have
used one of these
once in your life!
